Connect via WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta)

WhatsApp Cloud API

The official Meta Cloud API offers higher throughput and stability. It requires a Meta Business account and a verified WhatsApp Business number.

Prerequisites

• Meta Business Manager account
• WhatsApp Business phone number registered with Meta
• Meta App with WhatsApp product enabled

Steps in Nidaa

1. Devices tab → + Add Device → select Official Cloud API.
2. Click Set Cloud API on the device card.
3. Enter:

- Meta Phone Number ID — found in Meta App → WhatsApp → Getting started.

- Meta Access Token — a permanent token from Meta System User, or a temporary token for testing.

- Verify Token — any string you choose (used to verify Meta webhook calls).

1. Click Save. Nidaa returns the Callback URL.

Configure in Meta

1. In your Meta App → WhatsApp → Configuration.
2. Set Callback URL to the URL Nidaa provided.
3. Set Verify Token to the same string you entered.
4. Click Verify and Save.
5. Subscribe to the messages field under Webhook Fields.

Once verified, the device status changes to Connected.
