Auto-Reply: Respond to Incoming Messages Automatically
What is Auto-Reply?
Auto-reply lets Nidaa send automatic responses when someone sends a message matching a rule. Use it for FAQs, greetings, or menu-driven flows.
Creating a Rule
- Go to the Auto-Reply tab.
- Select the Device the rule applies to.
- Under Add Rule, set:
- Match type: how the incoming message is matched.
- Keyword / pattern: the trigger text.
- Auto-reply message: what Nidaa sends back.
- Click Save Rule.
Match Types
| Type | Behavior |
|------|----------|
| Contains | Message includes the keyword anywhere |
| Exact match | Message is exactly the keyword |
| Starts with | Message begins with the keyword |
| Regex | Message matches a regular expression pattern |
| Any message | Triggers on every incoming message (use carefully) |
Example Rules
- Type: Contains, Keyword:
harga, Reply: "Hai! Daftar harga kami: ..." - Type: Any message, Reply: "Terima kasih! Kami akan membalas segera." (out-of-hours greeting)
Notes
- Rules are evaluated in the order they were created. First match wins.
- You can have multiple rules per device.
- Rules are device-specific — a rule on Device A does not apply to Device B.
